Vproject

In April 2008 Outset was given funding by vinspired to start up new and exciting vprojects. The aim of these new projects is to enable young people with additional needs get involved in volunteering in the community. To assist them they are teamed up with other young people.
 

Current Event: Sports Showcase Day

On Sunday November 16th 2008 a Sports Showcase is being held at the Triangle Leisure Centre in Burgess Hill. The day will involve young people from across West Sussex with additional needs taking part in various sports events as well as being introduced to new games and activities. The day will also be an opportunity for clubs and organisations to meet these young people so they know what facilities are available to them in their communities.

The day is being organised and run by a group of volunteers aged 16 to 25 both with and without additional needs, working together to make a great event. If you would like to get involved with the project either on the main committee or offering to help out on the day or leading up to it we would be delighted to hear from you.
