Funding - vcashpoint
vcashpoint is a funding initiative for young
people who want to set up a voluntary project in their
own community. By providing grants up to £2500, vcashpoint
can help young people turn their ideas for voluntary
projects into reality.

vcashpoint will fund new projects or ideas which
aim to expand or develop projects which have been
carried out once in the past, involving new young
volunteers. All projects must create at least three new
volunteering opportunities for 16-25 year olds, be
youth-led, take place in England and benefit a chosen
community. vcashpoint must be the only source of
funding for the project.
Bring your ideas to life and transform your community.

Youth Opportunities Fund
When the government did a survey about local facilities
for young people in 2005, teenagers agreed that they'd
like to have a bigger say in what projects were given
the go ahead. So to make sure that your voice is heard,
the Youth Opportunity and Youth Capital Funds have been
introduced, giving teens the opportunity to give their
local facilities a bit of a makeover.

There’s £173m available in
Youth Funds until March 2011. The money is available to
young people aged 13 – 19 (or to 25 for those with
additional needs) who want to develop their own project
in West Sussex.
