Outset volunteer agreement
What you can expect from Outset:
-
That we will treat all
volunteers equally in accordance with our equal
opportunities policy.

That we will help
individuals, or groups to identify and set up their
own projects
-
That we will support
you throughout your volunteering, contacting you
regularly after you have started your project.

That you can call us at
any time during your placement with any problems or
concerns.
-
That you will be given
regular opportunities to feedback to us on your
experiences and assess your progress.
-
That we will assess
projects to ensure they are safe places to
volunteer.
-
That your individual
Volunteer Plan is flexible, so you can change your
volunteering if your circumstances require it.

That you will be issued
with a certificate volunteering and you will be
invited to any social events.
-
That your commitment to
volunteering will be respected and you will be
treated as a responsible person at all times.
What we expect from you:

That you treat anyone
you are involved with as a volunteer equally in
accordance with our Equal Opportunities policy.

That you make your
Volunteer Advisor aware of any changes to your
commitment as volunteer (i.e. hours)
-
That you make your
Volunteer Advisor aware immediately of any changes
to your circumstances (i.e. address, health, and
special needs.)
-
That you treat
information given to you regarding clients or
activities at a project as confidential (unless
otherwise indicated).

That you inform your
project supervisor or other team members in advance
if you cannot attend a session.

That you do not bring
drugs or drink to a project, or work under the
influence of drink or drugs while at a project.

That you comply with
all regulations specified by your placement (in
terms of health & safety for example)

That you give us
regular, honest accounts of your volunteering.
-
That you are aware that
you are a representative for Outset during your time
as a volunteer with us. Inappropriate or
irresponsible behaviour will reflect badly on your
team members and other Outset volunteers
